Own the design system and the design operations behind it at the #1 US cannabis retailer, nearly 1M users across native mobile, e-commerce web and in-store kiosk. Built the AI tooling the team runs on, and design across the e-commerce site, the new kiosk and internal tools.

HEAD OF DESIGN

Built the first real design function at an institutional crypto trading and lending platform. Led a team that grew from five to six, me included, set the operating model, and cut the design system from 231 components to 47. Stayed hands-on the whole time, taking the core product through four major versions.

Three brands on one token system: a bank, an insurance product, and a digital wallet. Designed the architecture that let each feel distinct, and kept it clear enough that three separate teams built on it instead of around it.
